Apple Teacher. iMovie Review
I was really excited to read this manual and take the quiz, because I know nothing about iMovie. The ebook was designed so intuitively, and I love that it helped you each step of an example project, so you really got to try out each tool. Using this tool in the classroom seems simple enough, but with plenty of options and creativity available so as not to limit students’ projects. I knew a little about cropping video clips and adding video before I read the iBook, but I learned how to add audio, voiceover, and titles as well. I was very excited to learn about the different ways to overlay video clips together, like the split-screen. The way the iMovie shows you the volume of the audio, and allows it to be adjusted over the background noise, is extremely helpful. I cannot wait to use iMovie more.
