Apple Teacher Badge 1- Reflection
I completed my first apple teacher badge at https://appleteacher.apple.com after reading the iBook "iPad starter guide." I thought that I was intimately familiar with how to work an apple product, as I have had iPhones for 6 years. There were several new things I learned, however. One was how to do a split screen, and look at two apps simultaneously. I also really enjoyed learning about the photos app, like how to do a slowmo and time lapse videos, and how to edit pictures in the app. Learning about the notes app, and how to use the different features like creating a sketch and the different utensils, was good to know. I really enjoyed the interactivity of the iBook, as the embedded videos and swiping instructions helped to visualize the learning. Some of the content was very basic so I did find myself skimming at times, especially in the beginning. Overall this iBook was helpful and infesting, as well as very easy to navigate.
